About
the Director
Matvey Krivolapov is a film director with 8 years of experience from Siberia, now working in Berlin. His films sit between narrative and experiment — Tohu Wa-Bohu, made with the Japanese band Anoice, traveled from a quiet kid's bedroom in Tomsk to festival screens across Europe. Alla Marèa was honored in Italy.
Together, he works in fashion and music, where he is drawn to artists who treat their form the way he treats his, as something still worth breaking. As the main artistic method, he refers to his childhood, memory, and the expanses of the subconscious.
